About Edgar’s Acres

Edgar’s Acres at Wright’s Farm is a 6-acre farm located in Grovetown, Georgia, dedicated to agriculture, community enrichment, and education. Owned by Goodwill Industries of Middle Georgia and the CSRA, and operated by Edgar’s Hospitality Group, the farm not only provides high-quality, fresh produce but also serves as a living classroom for students of Helms College. Here, students gain hands-on experience in farming, learning the principles of agriculture and how they connect to the culinary arts. Our mission is to cultivate the land responsibly while empowering the next generation of culinary and agricultural professionals, enhancing the local economy, and supporting our community initiatives.

At Edgar’s Acres, our passionate and dedicated team merges agricultural expertise with a strong commitment to hospitality. Located in Grovetown, Georgia, and proudly owned by Goodwill Industries of Middle Georgia and the CSRA, we operate under the leadership of Edgar’s Hospitality Group. Our team includes Christopher Thompson, Vice President of Culinary Operations and Education, Ben Mickel, our skilled Farm Manager, and Amy Graci, our talented Events Planner. With Christopher’s guidance in culinary excellence, Ben’s hands-on experience in farm management, Amy’s expertise in planning memorable events, and Steven’s culinary skills in transforming fresh produce into delicious meals, we ensure that every aspect of our operation—from farming to community-focused initiatives—reflects our mission to provide the highest quality produce and support the greater good.
